Pud extremists Gu have brought out sumptuous, new morello cherry bakewell desserts.

Layers of dark sour cherry compote combine with soft almond sponge in a silky mascarpone cheesecake layer and topped with Morello cherries.

Priced at £3.29 for a pack of two, they’re exclusive to Tesco from this month, and will come into other outlets from September.
