THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (VARIOUS ROADS IN THE ALLERDALE AREA) (TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) (NO.I) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable United Utilites to carry out new pipe installation works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding at speeds in excess of 30 miles per hour along the lengths of road specified in the attached Schedule.
Suitable diversion routes will be indicated on site by the display of relevant traffic signs as and when the temporary closures are in force.
The Works will not necessarily be done in numerical order. No speed limit imposed by this Order will apply to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.
Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:
1. Apply to emergency service vehicles, or vehicles being used by statutory undertakers in the performance of their duties; and

2. Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and

3. Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the roads, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the roads; and

The Order will come into operation on 23 December 2019 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

From a point approx320m north west of its junction with the A66 extending in a south westerly direction for approx 300m.

From a point approx 60m south of its junction with the C2035 extending in a southerly direction for approx. 458m. 3.C2035 Isel (Ref: Gl I0/I9/A404) From its junction with the C2034 extending in a northerly direction for approx 80m.

From a point approx 160m south east of its junction with the C2035 extending in an overall north westerly direction for approx. I km.

From its junction with the C2034 extending in a north easterly direction for approx 200m.
6. Unadopted road Wellington Farm, Cockermouth (Ref: GII0/I9/A408)

From a point adjacent to Wellington Farm extending in a south easterly direction for approx 300m.
7. C2006 Dean (Ref: Gl I0/I9/A406)

From its junction with the A5086 Peppercoats Brow extending in a westerly direction for approx 200m.
8. C2027 Hotchberiy Brow, Eaglesfield (Ref: GII0/I9/A407) From its junction with the A5086 extending in a north westerly direction for approx 350m.

9. C2033 Redmain, Blindcrake (Ref: Gl I0/I9/A409)

From its junction with the A595 extending in a south easterly then an overall north easterly direction for approx 2.6km.
10. C2034 Blindcrake (Ref: Gl I0/I9/A409)

(i) From its junction with the C2033 extending in a south easterly direction for approx 300m; and

(ii) From its junction with the C2033 extending in a north easterly direction for approx 130m.
