JAMES ANDERSON has signed a new contract with Lancashire County Cricket Club.

The 30 year-old fast bowler has committed his immediate future to the county by penning a two-year deal.

The Burnley-born seamer made his debut for the Red Rose in 2002 and was selected to play for England shortly afterwards. He has since gone on to become one of the outstanding bowlers in world cricket.

Anderson said: “I always love coming back to play for the Club when my England duties permit me to and I'm delighted to sign for another two years."
