HOTSHOT Steven Fletcher is already off and running with three pre-season goals, but he’s still hoping to learn from the Master.

The 22-year-old is too young to remember much of Owen Coyle in his professional heyday.

But the Burnley boss loves nothing more than showing flashes of his deadly finishing in training and Masters tournaments.

“I’ve not really seen him play too much but in the Masters he scores a fair few goals,” said Fletcher of his new manager.

“Because he was a striker it’s good for me to learn a few things off him, so I’m looking forward to it.”

And he revealed how Coyle was helping him to deal with his club record £3million pricetag.

“We always need confidence and the gaffer is good in that respect,” said Fletcher, who was a target of Real Madrid and Celtic.

“My family keep me grounded too, I keep my head down and I just work hard and it’s paying off now.

“There won’t be any pressure if I’m scoring, but I’ll just keep my head down and hopefully that will pay off in games.

“I’m just glad the gaffer has given me the opportunity to show everybody what I can do.”
