FORMER Morecambe midfielder Damien Allen has signed for UniBond League Division One North outfit AFC Halifax Town.
Allen, 22, who played 20 times for the Shrimps in League 2 last season, moves to the Shay after being unattached.
Allen, released at the end of last season, previously played more than 50 games for Stockport County.
