MORECAMBE boss Sammy McIlroy could be set to swoop for keeper Bryn Halliwell, who has turned his back on the Scottish Premier League.
Halliwell has rejected a deal to stay with newly promoted Hamilton Academicals and is thought to fancy a return to England.
The former Wimbledon keeper has also played for St Johnstone and Dunfermline in Scotland - and with the 27-year-old wanting a fresh challenge, he could be just the man for Sammy McIlroy.
The Morecambe boss wants to sign another keeper with only Scott Davies on the senior books.
McIlroy has also been linked with a move for Aberdeen keeper Derek Soutar.
