ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman has been thwarted in his attempts to bring in a second loan player last night.
After adding Billy Dennehy from Sunderland earlier in the day, Coleman was hoping to add another left-sided players from a League One side, but the deal wasn't able to be completed before the 5pm deadline.
He said: "Billy's a good player and he signed a new deal at Sunderland so he's obviously well thought of by manager Roy Keane.
"He can play either on the left of midfield or at the back and he'll address an issue we have on that side of the pitch."
Lee McEvilly left for Rochdale yesterday and Paul Carden has joined Cambridge United on a month's loan.
