SALESBURY will host the Ribblesdale League T20 finals day after they got the better of Whalley in Friday's last eight tie.

Hashen Ramanayake hit 52 for Salesbury and Peter Richardson added an important 25 in a total of 147-6.

And that proved more than enough as Whalley were bowled out for 105.

Salesbury will play Euxton in the opening semi-final tie on Sunday, July 29, after Aneeq Hassan and Waqar Rafique starred against Ribblesdale Wanderers.

Hassan hit 72 off 55 balls including 10 fours and four sixes while Rafique made 64 off 47 balls as they pair added 139 for the second wicket to see Euxton chase down Wanderers' 155-1 and win by eight wickets with five balls to spare.

Earlier Primosh Perera (71 not out) and Andrew Needham (50 not out) put on their own stellar partnership of 136 but it counted for nothing.

League leaders Settle remain in the hunt for T20 glory after they saw off Cherry Tree.

William Davidson hit 60 off just 35 balls and was supported by Shakeel Richards (29) and John Davidson (25) as Settle posted 178-8. Kelan Florentine, Mark Hadfield and Stefan Klopper took two wickets each. In reply Cherry Tree were restricted to 136-7.

Settle will face Brinscall, who overcame Read, in the last four.

Read batted first and slipped to 52-6 before Ben Woodall (35) and Andrew Bennett (23) helped them up to 133-8.

In reply, Brinscall lost Stuart Parker early, but then Joshua Andrew (35) and Sehan Weerasinghe 58 off 31 balls took their side to 118-2 and within sight of victory.

But Bailey Richards took 3-18 as Brinscall lost a further five wickets before eventually getting over the line with an over to spare.
