SETTLE will face Cherry Tree in an appetising Ribblesdale League T20 last eight clash after the group stages were concluded on Friday night.

Settle, defending league champions and runners-up in the T20 last season, are unbeaten in the league this term and sit top of the table while Cherry Tree are setting the pace in Section B.

They booked their spot in the knockout stages with a convincing 10 wicket win over Feniscowles on Friday night.

Kelan Florentine (4-12) and Stefan Klopper (3-20) helped restrict Feniscowles to 89-9 with Paul Slater top scoring with 36.

In reply Klopper hit a superb 60 not out off just 26 balls and fellow opener Mark Hadfield made an unbeaten 17 to secure the success.

Elsewhere, Euxton booked their place in the last eight, and a trip to Ribblesdale Wanderers, when Earby conceded their tie on Friday night.

Salesbury guaranteed themselves a home quarter final and a match against Whalley as they saw off previously unbeaten Brinscall on Thursday night.

Hashen Ramanyake (64) and Mohammad Shahbaz (23) put on 76 for Salesbury to help them to a competitive 151-5.

In reply, Brinscall's Sehan Weerasinghe made 36 off 29 balls but they lost regular wickets to slip to 79-6.

Ian Chaplin (31) and Ian Billington (21) led a revival but Brinscall, who host Read in the last eight, fell 10 runs short.

The last eight ties take place on Thursday and Friday with a reserve date of a week later.
