BRINSCALL maintained their 100 per cent start to the Ribblesdale League T20 competition with a comfortable win over Feniscowles in group one.

The game took place on Thursday night and a superb 71 not out from Stuart Parker was the foundation for their 172-5. Ian Billington added an unbeaten 33 while Feniscowles conceded 29 extras.

In reply Sehan Weerasinghe and Adam Wojciechwski each took three wickets as Feniscowles were bowled out for just 60.

The other group one matches were hit by the weather with Barnoldswick's clash with Salesbury abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Euxton's clash with Cherry Tree also fell victim to the rain. Euxton posted 123-7 and Cherry Tree were 34-2 after five overs before the weather intervened.

Earby had a free date.

Settle are among the group two pacesetters and completed a rapid chase at Padiham.

The home side were bowled out for just 65 with Callum Clarke making 23.

Tom Davidson took 3-12 and in reply the defending league champions took just 4.3 overs to reach their target with Will Davidson striking 34 not out off just 16 balls.

Read secured a win over Baxenden. Bailey Richards hit 46 for Read in a total of 155-8 as Zaheer Abbas took 3-39.

Richards then took three wickets, a feat matched by Jamie Woodall, as Bash were dismissed for 80.

Whalley edged a thrilling 14-over contest against Ribblesdale Wanderers.

Declan Bailey's unbeaten 38 helped them over the line with one ball to spare.

Earlier, Wanderers made 100-2 with Primosh Perera making 37 not out and Mack Spencer adding 22.

The top four in each group qualify for the quarter-finals with the group winners and runners-up guaranteed a home draw.
