COMPETITORS from Down Under made a clean sweep of the top prizes at the Pleasington Putter competition at the weekend.
Stacy Keating, from Victoria, took the first prize as she carded a 36-hole 147 to beat fellow Aussie Emma Bennett by two strokes.
She followed up a level par 74 from her morning round with a one-under-par 73 despite everything the English weather threw at her.
And although last year's winner, Kate Combes, didn't defend her title, she still went home £500 richer as she bagged a hole in one at the 16th in her first round to claim her prize, donated by Independent financial Advisers Ludlow & Co.
In the net competition, there were tremendous scores returned by two junior girls.
Emily Taylor, of Royal Lytham Golf Club, won the first prize with a net score of 135 and Brogan Townend from the home club Pleasington Golf Club came second with 143.
