MEGAN Odale and Demi Leigh Ramsey are the aces in the pack when it comes to kick boxing.
For the talented twosome, who are both members of Ace Kickboxing Club, won medals at a recent regional event - and they only went to get some competition experience!
Megan, aged nine, won a silver medal in under 30kg category while 11-year-old Demi picked up a bronze medal in the over 30kg class in the Freestyle Championships held in Manchester.
It turned out to be a day to remember for Megan, a yellow belt, and blue belt Demi as it was their first ever fights.
The pair train at Ace Kickboxing Club, which is based at Audley School of Sport and Art, twice a week and instructor Paul Ramsey said the pair deserved their moment of glory.
He said: "The girls have never taken part in a competition before and I only took them along to get some experience. But they did superbly well to end up coming away with medals."
Megan and Demi were two of six young fighters from Ace Kickboxing Club to travel to Manchester with Connor McDowell, Ben Forsthye, Alfie Manning and Callum Ramsey all finishing fourth in their respective weight categories.
