PEOPLE won prizes this week for helping to boost the funds of an appeal to help a local youngster.
A one year free swimming pass for Heysham baths, a barbecue, Focus DIY vouchers and much more was given away to raise cash for the Citizen-backed Bring Back Jake' appeal.
It aims to raise £20,000 to help send five-year-old Jake McClure to the USA to join the Son-Rise Programme in a bid to help him overcome his autism.
Jake's mum Roseanne - pictured here with Jake and - spent last week selling raffle tickets at Focus, on Westgate, and the winners were all picked on Sunday.
The event raised £536 to bring the year-long appeal within £2,000 of reaching its target.
* And the Bring Back Jake appeal is to gain another £375 from local man Phil McMaster after he ran the London marathon in just over four hours.
