I wonder if, through your newspaper, I can trace members of my family from Burnley. It’s a long story but circumstances made me lose touch with my father and his family when I was a baby. I would like to learn of any family of Edward John Jenkins, who was born in 1903 and, I understand, died in 1980.

In his 20s, he worked at the Empress Ballroom/ movie house as a cinemato-graphic operator. His boss was Percy Cobb.
