A recent letter writer suggested that the police should be stricter with people who park half on the pavements.
Why shouldn’t we get away with breaking the law? Lots of people are at it.
As with cyclists riding on the pavement, there is no big money to be made in fines, like with speed cameras, for instance.
My compliments to the cyclist, whoever you are, that I saw in Blackburn last month riding in the road. (It’s true, I did!) R Bryan, Sunnybank Road, Blackburn.
