FOR the past year or so, the Alf Wright’s Music Hall at King George’s Hall, Blackburn, has been free of charge for those holding a Beez card.
However, because of cutbacks, there is now a charge for this show.
And what good value for the money! We are fortunate in this area to have an afternoon of live entertainment each month for the modest charge of £5 – and this includes light refreshments.
So it surprises me that this monthly event is not now better supported.
The old saying ‘use it or lose it’ comes to mind.
Please don’t let this happen. Give more support, please, to your local live theatre!
