I love to walk in the countryside and feel blessed that we have so much beauty literally on our doorstep.
However on my regular walks I have been disgusted to see more and more rubbish being left on the roadside and verges.
Beer cans, fast food takeaway wrappers, pizza boxes etc, are presumably thrown out of cars instead of being taken home.
You can imagine my horror this morning whilst walking along Tockholes Road towards Belmont to see bags of rubbish, sets of drawers and old toys scattered along two grazing pastures and if that wasn't enough further along in a layby a three seated settee.
The morons responsible for this have probably used more fuel to drive there than they would have done going to the local recycling skips.
