RE lighting up the exterior of Blackburn Town Hall (LT, February 21), this is another of the council's ideas of spending money for spending's sake.
As for the building only being lit by street lights, has Coun Andy Kay never looked out of the window of the Mayor's parlour, council chamber or No 1 committee room?
Outside all these windows were spotlights highlighting the face of the building.
Get a grip council, spend the money where it is needed.
