police launch race probe
A CARNFORTH student was verbally abused in what police are investigating as a racial incident.
The 18-year-old Asian was shopping in Asda with his parents and brother in Ovangle Road when he was targeted by a white man in his early 20s at 11.15am on Wednesday, February 27.
The man was wearing a light top and camouflage trousers.
Anyone with information should contact police on 01524-63333.
