A LANCASTER man is to follow in the footsteps of Bill Clinton and the Dali Lama - after being invited to speak to the Oxford Union.
Ray Hill (pictured), who campaigns against racism, will address the world famous union on Bank Holiday Monday (May 26).
The 67-year-old city man says: "I am really excited about it. They don't often invite normal people along but this is in direct response to the problems that occurred after they invited David Irving and Nick Griffin of the BNP."
Labour Party member Ray, who will talk under the banner of Hope not Hate', goes on: "I will be talking about racism and anti-fascism and I feel honoured and excited to be invited.
"It is quite an achievement and I am really looking forward to it."
