I agree with Mr Tordoff (Letters April 23) inasmuch as one should not try to justify one's beliefs with personal attacks on other readers'.

Put the sand back and tidy up

I WRITE in response to the letter from G Yates regarding sand on the promenade and concerns regarding flooding (Citizen, last week). I have to ask why has the sand not been put back on to the beach?
