A BLACKBURN councillor has called for an end to Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip.
Violence has continued between Israeli and Palestinian militants in the troubled region for a sixth day, despite international calls for a ceasefire.
Labour member for Bastwell Iftakhar Hussain said he planned to contact Blackburn MP Jack Straw to voice his concern.
He added: “The whole community is angry about what is happening.”
