Lancashire firecrews play it for real
FIREFIGHTERS completed a search and rescue training exercise at a former Blackburn College building.
Seven East Lancashire crews took part in the drill at the Fielden Street building and also worked on incident management skills.
Blackburn crew manager Steve Johnson said: “The training gave a safe environemnt for us to get some practice and feedback. It was simulated to be as near to an incident as we could so we could take on the decisions we would in a real situation.”
