COFFEE shop worker Natalie Heston King braced herself to face one of her worst fears – a huge spider!

Natalie, 25, a barista at Costa Coffee in The Mall, Blackburn, was challenged to hold a tarantula for ‘as long as possible’ in a bid to raise money for the Costa foundation which supports communities in Third World countries.

Cheered on Natalie held Henry the tarantula for almost five minutes and raised hundreds of pounds for the charity.

Henry was joined by Bertha, a 12ft albino Burmese python, and George, a 7ft red tail boa constrictor.

Sisters Rebecca Brennand and Claire Buck – the owners of the Mill Hill Pets and Aquatics centre provided the reptiles and spider.
