A RESIDENTS-only parking scheme for Mosley Street, Barnoldswick, has been rejected.
Some residents had requested a scheme be introduced, but after road chiefs at Lancashire County Council and Pendle Council looked into it, they turned it down.
The borough council surveyed local residents as part of its eligibility criteria for such schemes, and of 18 properties surveyed, eight were in favour, one was against and nine did not respond.
A council report said: “The response to the questionnaire would indicate that there is no overwhelming desire to introduce a scheme.”
