A TRIAL of two Irish bar-men accused of helping an East Lancashire man drink himself to death has been adjourned until May.

Jurors were due to be sworn in this week in the unlawful killing case involving Graham Parish, formerly of Calder Terrace, Lomeshaye, Nelson, dating back to June 2008.

In the dock at the Nenagh Circuit Court are bar manager Gary Wright, 32, and barman Aidan Dalton, 27, both from Borrisoleigh in County Tipperary.

The pair both worked at the Hayes Hotel in Thurles, where Mr Parish was staying before he died from acute alcohol intoxication.

An expert witness for the defence was unavailable to attend the trial and Judge Tom Teehan adjourned it to May 3.
