THE manager of an electrical retailer is celebrating 33 years with the family-run firm.
As soon as Iain Heald left West Craven High School in 1978, he went to work for Harry Garlick on the shop floor at the firm’s Burnley branch.
The 52-year-old father-of-three, who lives with his wife in Earby, is now manager of the Barnoldswick branch.
His eldest son, Matthew, 21, works at the Clitheroe branch.
Iain described the changes he has seen. He said: “3D is the latest thing in TV, but I can remember in the 1980s when people were shown 3D and they had to wear green and red glasses.
“The picture quality was awful and people still think of that. It’s changed massively.”
