ONE of East Lancashire’s fastest-growing manufacturers has won a top award.
Toilet roll maker Accrol, of Blackburn, took home the Business Growth gong at the EEF Future Manufacturing Awards, held in the City of London.
The awards are handed out by manufacturers’ organisation EEF to firms that excel in enterprise, innovation and skills.
Last year Accrol increased sales from £27million to £38million, and hopes to reach £52million turnover in 2011.
Accrol is based in Roman Road and employs 100 people.
