POLICE have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with a spate of 13 burglaries in one street.
A burglar used an axe to smash his way into more than a dozen properties in 25 days, in Strawberry Bank, Blackburn, in the run-up to Christmas.
A 30-year-old suspect from the Shadsworth area of Blackburn was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
He has been bailed pending further inquiries.
