AN hilarious one-woman show focussing on knickers will be at the Dukes in Lancaster for one night only on Saturday.
Rosemary Hawthorne's The Knicker Lady' is a romp through the history of knickers, examining the social changes and attitudes that determined the shapes and styles underwear took as she delves through trunks, cases and boxes containing 300 years worth of bloomers.
Rosemary, pictured, says: "What I do with clothes is tell a story. It's a delightful mix of costume and social history with a dash of pure cabaret. I like to call it history with a smile."
