Brighton-based noiseniks Help She Can't Swim - whose fantastically named debut album Fashonista Super Dance Troupe brought comparisons to Sonic Youth - are back with a new EP. But first there's a tour which comes to Lancaster on November 18.
The ferocious five-piece - Tom Denney (vocals / guitars), Leesey Haines (vocals / keys), Tom Baker (guitar), Lew Baker (drums) and Tim Palmer (bass) - will play at the DIY indie night Feedback at The Farmers Arms. It's the band's first visit to the city, though they have played shows in Chorley, Preston and Manchester in the past.
The new five-track EP, titled Committing Social Suicide, is released on December 5, before the band start recording their second album which is due out in spring.
Help She Can't Swim play Feedback at The Farmers Arms on Friday, November 18. Support comes from Y'r Impossible and 3D Tanx.
