I REQUESTED help to assist my going up my stairs and a hand rail in my bath with shower above as I need support owing to sciatica pain.
Blackburn with Darwen Primary Care Trust Independent Living Services were very helpful.
I did wait a few weeks as so many people require assistance with various disabilities. But two very proficient workmen came with the aids I requested.
The guide to council services is useful with the phone numbers of many services for the public. It is free from libraries, health centres and town hall. I have found staff considerate and supportive.
