TWO men have been arrested following a crackdown on suspected drug dealing in Nelson.
Police executed two drugs warrants in Poplar Street at about 8.30am on Friday after receiving a tip off about suspected drug dealing in the area.
Officers raided two houses and arrested two men aged 22 and 26, both from Nelson.
They also recovered a substantial quantity of what they believed to be illegal drugs along with suspected drugs paraphenalia.
Insp Paul Robinson, of Nelson Police, said: "The two men are being questioned in connection with suspected drugs offences. If anyone has any information about suspected drug dealing in their area they should call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
