NEW speed cameras intended to improve road safety in East Lancashire could be putting motorists at risk, an optician warned.
Derek Pelowe from Nelson claimed the flash from the new speed cameras could temporarily 'blind' motorists.
Meanwhile Rovers-mad fashion designer Wayne Hemingway revealed he was addicted to potato pies from Sandersons Confectioners in Mellor Brook.
