A KEY stage in the development of nursery facilities at Hindsford slotted into place when a unit to cater for 46 children was installed and assembled on the Lodge Road site.
The new nursery will combine and extend the existing services provided by Hindsford Pre-School Group and Sacred Heart Pre-School Group and also offer the community room facilities, training and advice as well as affordable childcare places.
Housed in a purpose built module designed by Portakabin for Lilliput Nurseries the Hindsford Community Link Limited project is funded by Sure Start and the Neighourhood Nurseries Initiative.
Nursery manager Teresa Hughes said: "The nursery is due to open full time by the end of March. We'd like to thank Nationwide Crane Hire for their help."
