ON Saturday our daughter was hit by a car whilst crossing Bolton Road West, Ramsbottom, at the junction of Dundee Lane and we would like to thank the first-aider who assisted her until the ambulance arrived.
Also, we have a message for other teenagers who think it is "uncool" to use the pelican crossing. Our daughter was extremely lucky to escape with just a broken collar bone. The crossing is there for the safety of pedestrians and it is not "uncool" to push the button!
