A 22-YEAR-OLD man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates on charges including kidnapping, witness intimidation, wounding and assault.
Mohammed Malik, of Montague Street, Blackburn, is accused of an assault on university student Irfan Mohammed causing him actual bodily harm. He is alleged to have intimidated Mr Mohammed and kidnapped him. Other charges include assaulting Kasser Khan causing him actual bodily harm, damaging his car, wounding Khalid Mahmood causing him grievous bodily harm, assaulting Ghazannfar Nawaz causing him actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon, a brass knuckle duster. He was remanded in custody until June 25.
