A MAN has admitted a series of arson attacks in Radcliffe, causing damage worth more than £4,000.
Terence Yates, who told Bury magistrates he had been suffering depression and stress at the time, attempted to destroy a wheelie bin, an electricity junction box belonging to Richard Prentice, and clothing belonging to Aiden Byrne.
He also asked for three other offences of setting fire to residents' property in the neighbourhood to be taken into consideration.
The 41-year-old, of Whittaker Street, Radcliffe, said his wife had multiple sclerosis and was now wheelchair bound and totally dependant upon him.
He said it left him depressed and stressed.
He will be sentenced on July 22.
