MOTORBIKE fans have a rare chance to see the only 1955 Manx Norton Mead 250cc bike, at a fundraising event in Darwen next month.
Biker Frank Kay, who recently rode the machine at the Isle of Man TT Races, is hoping to raise money in memory of his friend and fellow motorbike restorer David Livesey.
Mr Livesey, who lived in Darwen and was co-owner of Furniture Technique in Blackburn, died of cancer two years ago at the age of 57.
Everyone is welcome to view the bike at the Mill Gap pub, Bolton Road, on July 9. For more information, contact Frank on 01254 264486.
