I AM writing about your story that disabled children can now play alongside their able-bodied friends in Mercer Park, Clayton-le-Moors (LET, August 31).
It is wonderful to know that children who had had to "stand and watch" can now join in.
"Friends of Mercer Park" have done wonders but I also think that the wall near the entrance to the park has been neglected and should be looked at.
