A TEENAGER who had been cooking eggs left a pan on the cooker and fell asleep upstairs -- waking to find smoke bellowing from the kitchen.
Firefighters spent 20 minutes at Chaucer Grove, Atherton, from 11.30am after a neighbour spotted smoke coming from the property.
The house was smoke damaged but no-one was injured.
