FORMER Leigh RL favourite Alan Hadcroft is calling on the game's fans to support a charity night .
Alan, who now plays for Halifax, has helped organise a fund-raising night next Friday, September 24, at Leigh Legion to swell the coffers of a deserving local good cause.
Alan says: "I've contacted many local sporting celebrities and they've all pledged their support for what will be a very worthy cause. Players from the past and present will be their on the night and it will be a great opportunity for us all to get together again and raise some money along the way.
"Much of the fund-raising will come from a massive sporting memorabilla auction," he adds.
The night will also feature local band Reload and a disco. Tickets are priced £6 and are available from Alan or payable on the door. Doors open 7.30pm.
