THE new pupils at the Radcliffe Riverside School had a bonding session at Burrs Country Park.
Groups of year seven pupils visited the Bury park every day, from Tuesday to Friday, to take part in team building and to help the students to get to know each another and their form tutors. The aim was to help students make the transition from primary school to secondary school, and make new friends.
More than 150 of the first ever year seven group at the new school, along with 15 staff, took part in a range of activities including orienteering, raft building, abseiling and kayaking.
