HEALTH bosses have pledged to work together to improve services after an investigation into the controversial shake-up of hospital services.
Chief executives of East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, primary care trust NHS East Lancashire, and the North West Ambulance Service, have promised to report regularly to councillors on their progress.
The group, formed by members of the county council’s health scrutiny committee, studied the controversial Meeting Patients’ Needs changes since emergency services were shaken up in November 2007.
