THREE women from Burnley are through to a national slimming competition after losing 15 stone between them.
Sue Rae, 42 lost four stone, dropping from a dress size 20 to a size 12, while Jayne Rostron 46, and Janette Petrie, 57 lost five and half stone, dropping from size 22 to a size 12.
The women, who lost the weight by attending Slimming World groups in the Burnley area, won the local Greatest Loser contest.
They now have their sights set on the UK finals of Slimming World’s Greatest Loser 2009 and could and take home a £3,000 prize.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony in London on Thursday, April 30.
Sue said: “It has changed my life. I have lost weight but found new confidence.”
