Locals put top chiefs under spotlight

Top bosses from across the district are to be put on the spot by locals.

Senior officers from the police, the NHS, Lancaster City Council and Lancashire County Council will be under the spot light at a special event when residents can put questions to the chiefs.

The Any Questions event, organised by Geraldine Smith MP for Morecambe and Lunesdale, will take place at venues across the district in September and October.

Residents unable to make the meetings can lodge their questions in writing to Ms Smith.

Says Ms Smith: “ The forums offer local people a unique opportunity to ‘put on the spot’ the executives responsible for the effective delivery of our public services and I hope constituents take advantage of the opportunity and make them a success”
