A MAJOR East Lancashire road was blocked off after a car crash this morning.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash on Preston New Road in Mellor just before 10am.
Although no-one was seriously injured, an elderly couple and two men were taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital.
The road was closed for several hours but has now been reopened.
