CLASSICAL music concerts for babies are being rolled out in venues across the county - including recitals at Firbank Children's Centre in Lancaster.
The Mini-Mozart Concerts, run by the Lancashire Sinfonietta, are designed specially for babies aged under 18 months and their parents.
The interactive concerts are a light-hearted introduction to the world of music for tiny ears - a fun place where babies and parents can share the joy of music together.
More than 40 concerts are programmed at centres across Lancashire, performed by a string quartet comprising professional members of the Sinfonietta.
Orchestra manager Fiona Sinclair says: "We play all kinds of music from traditional nursery rhymes and lullabies to Mozart and Vivaldi as part of the concerts. Musicians use action songs and interactive play to explain the early and life-long benefits of music-making."
The sessions are free to attend. thanks to sponsorship from Classic FM and Lancashire County Council, and every baby takes home My First Classical CD'.
The Lancaster event will be on Wednesday, December 12, at Firbank Children's Centre, with concerts at 10.00 and 11.15am. Places must be booked by calling 01524-845319.
