POLICE and fire bosses have launched an investigation following a suspected arson attack on a house.
Fire crews were called to reports that people were trapped inside a burning house in Albert Street, Accrington, at 1.20am today.
A window in the living room of the house had been smashed but fire crews found nobody inside when they searched the property.
Traces of a possible accelerant that had been poured into the house have been taken away for analysis.
