A YOUNG motorist escaped serious injury after his car crashed into a lamppost outside a wine bar.
The crash happened in Burnley Road, Rawtenstall, when a 22-year-old man's Citroen Saxo left the road by Maddisons Wine Bar shortly before 2am today.
Police have launched an investigation.
